I just read 4900 block St Charles.
Funny, the aunt said "about 7 blocks from her dad's work." ??

Her grandmother in California has posted the same.

Man, I hope this is true. We can hash out wtf happened later, but no matter, the most important thing is that she's safe.

The FBI has a strong presence in and around NOLA these days for human trafficking.

Article says "unharmed". WTF? A 12 yr old gone for 2 days in NO is unharmed?

Not quite

The friend's parents didn't think to call the parents/police?

At 12 years of age, kids can start to feel like they are adults and know what is best for them and "run off" for the weekend to a forbidden boyfriends house. Thus the reason why missing persons have to be missing so long before initial reports are made and why the FBI states most missing teens are runaways.

WTF? What boyfriend of a 12yo lives in their own place or without adult supervision.

Someone will surely be arrested for relations with a juvenile and probably kidnapping.

Glad to hear that this child was found safe, however, as a taxpayer, I'd like to know the details about how and where she was found since my tax $$$ went to resources used to find this little girl that apparently ran away.

The parents should be responsible for footing the bill in the event the missing person willingly went missing.

I had wondered if it was a school friend or other friend.
