Ahh that's rich coming from bike riders who want drivers to obey the law and allow them on the road while they watch the bike blast through a red light or stop sign.
If a city has the money to pay for a bike lane and doesn't have more important shite to spend their money on Im ok with it. However that's a far cry from:

I laugh when Im in New Orleans and see freshly paved bike lanes on streets that have bike sized bunkers for pot holes.

why can't we all just obey the laws of the road, be courteous to our fellow man, and be merry?

Because in real cities(those not filled with lazy fat fckers), lots of people walk on sidewalks. It's not safe for the walkers or bikers for bikers to ride on sidewalks.

Prytania Expressway is where it's at for biking Uptown to Downtown. Carrollton bike lane to St. Charles bike lane to Prytania. You can be downtown in no time.
