Looked at both a few years ago. Couldn't fit in a Tundra. No headroom. How tall are you?

Best two trucks on the market. Just got a new Ford and it's great, but I'd drive a Tundra in a heartbeat. My 2013 Chevy that I just got rid of was a piece of shite.

I love my Tundra.

Previous truck was a Tacoma.

Same.

Tundra is great and will have a solid resale value.

I'm 6'4" and fit in a Tundra no problem. Hell I drive a new Tacoma that I fit in fine. Were you attempting to drive a first gen Tundra by chance because those were a glorified mid size truck.

Sometimes GM sells more trucks than Ford...but yeah, Ford F series brand is the sales leader. GM and Ford have an advantage in configurations and powertrain options. You can walk into a Chevrolet store and buy anything form a 4 cylinder Colorado to a $70,000 High Country Silverado to a Duramax-powered Low Cab Forward medium duty truck to a natural gas-powered stripped chassis......and any replacement part for any of those trucks.

You can't do that with a Toyota or Nissan, who are only into half ton and mid sized pickups.

I have a 2016 F150. I'm a Toyota fan, but couldn't justify the extra 5K to get an equivalent packaged Tundra. I hope I don't regret it over the next couple of years.

If you can afford it, get the Tundra.

The 2018 F150 looks exactly like the 2016 Silverado...especially with the color keyed front bumper.

There must be a focus group out there that has told both companies that people want giant bars across a split grill with stacked headlights, bulgy fenders, and a power dome hood.

Logic doesn't really work for most people when it comes to car buying in the States.

Depends on what you want it for. If its a basic duty truck with light towing -- Tundra all the way.

If you are going to do heavy trailering you will want to go with the F150/250. The Tundra skimps on the payload weight. I have a Tundra and love it. But will eventually get a F250 when we upgrade our rv.
