They're both great trucks, but the Tundra doesn't come close to the F150's available features. If you're just looking for a basic truck, flip a coin. If you're the kind of person that wants the most modern tech, the F150 is the answer.
Also, of you want the option of building one to your exact specs, you need to go F150 (out of the options given in the OP).
Based on OP's price point, none of that really applies to him. So he can flip a coin.

He's pissed that the still has to remove the antenna to go through the car wash. PL Toyota told him yesterday they plan to remove the external antenna in the next couple of model years. Do you know anything about that? He's considering waiting if they are.

If you are looking to put more that 120K miles on the truck, then it is Tundra hands down. You can keep a F150 on the road past 120K miles, but it is going to cost you.

My biggest fear in buying a F150, is it's reliability over time. I know that the Tundra will last, but I do think that the F150 will as well if maintained, and you avoid those ecoboost engines.

That's not true at all. I think most everyone knows that for reliability you can't top a Toyota in virtually any vehicle.
Does the F150 have more bleeding edge technology, yes. Is that a good thing, it depends. More stuff to break.
What I don't like about my F150 is the AC controls are below the radio, and they can be a big challenging to reach and adjust to reach, especially while driving. The Tundra has a cleaner dash, and things are more easy to reach and change.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've got another choice. Looking for a new truck for my daily driver. Don't care about tech features, not overly concerned with mpg, and I only tow a small trailer. Mostly looking for a truck I can keep for a long time, that will be reliable. I will be doing about 50/50 highway to city driving.
I can get a 2015 ram ecodiesel with 50k miles or a 2015 tundra with 30k miles for the same price.
Any thoughts

Buddy of mine is an ASE certified master mechanic and has worked at a Ford dealership since his certification. He drives a Tundra, his wife drives a Pilot. I've asked him as have others why he doesn't drive a Ford, his answer is that it's far more lucrative to work on a Ford than own one. So,
