My kids played and I still clown it.

I’d argue that the parents who worship travel ball and legitimately think their little Jaxynn is a 5 tool player bc of it are some of the biggest mouthbreathers on the planet.

My son played a total of 6 seasons on a travel team. I missed maybe 15 days total. 1 week in Panama City, 1 week in Cooperstown and a couple days here and there.

My daughter played travel volleyball, only took PTO a few of times for that.

Travel ball is a ridiculous waste of time and money, unlike hunting, golf or boats which each a sound investment of resources leading to untold riches.

Exactly why the frick would you choose to do what your kid likes instead of drinking beer snd playing cards at the camp every weekend.

You ain't rubbing elbows with the right people if you ain't drinking and partying down on the isle!!!

The people that push their kids to travel ball are more than likely failed sad faux Alphas trying to live vicariously through their sons.

They hate to be reminded of their shitty hourly jobs is my takeaway.

Those people are faux alphas who have faux alpha sons whose athletic ability peaks at 12 years old.

Truth really hurts

So if this is true for some kids, the alternative is that they didn’t have any athletic achievements or experiences in their life. Pretty dick thing to say.

Travel ball is an investment. My son Boltt has already promised to pay off my credit cards, F-250 and bass boat when he gets his signing bonus. He has so much character for only being nine years old.

Yeah.

It’s one thing when you go to Broussard, Ruston, Traction, Houston.

Get older and you are in Atlanta, Orlando, Phoenix….that is when the expenses do mount up.

It's so funny seeing all the "Travel Ball" hate from these dad's who have 25 year old boys living at home jacking off to porn on the internet.

I'm sorry you never threw the ball with your kid Baw

Employers have to let the mentally challenged employees go to these events where they pay money to make someone rich off hosting the next World Series.

Remember, there are not enough World Series trophies going around for these people to collect for their kids & their friends mediocre accomplishments.

FYI, I believe the dollar store will start selling World Series Trophies for .50 cents. They do have a lot of Jaylen, Braxton, and the other common names in stock.

Those with green fingers from the travel ball cheap championship rings tend to prioritize life / vacation over career championship rings.

I coach my daughter's travel ball teams and I manage by being a sales engineer with only 1 customer to worry about, IP, and since it's our biggest customer I have my own office onsite with my own hours. Make no mistake work comes first but outside sales jobs are very flexible. Most coaches I know have similar gigs or a shite ton of pto/comp time.
