This board’s obsession with travel ball is weird and the jokes are played out. I know that’s gonna hurt your egos but it’s the truth. And on top of that, it’s kind of strange for you to be so worried about what another person is doing with their free time with their families

And no, I don’t have a Paxton, Jaxton, Paisley, Braxton, or Baylynne and I’m not affiliated with travel ball in any way

Here here. It's kinda stupid how Travel Ball has become the trendy target for the OT bullies to pile on.

My daughter plays tournament softball. They don't travel more than 200 miles or so for weekend tournaments. But still, It's not rocket science. It's old fashioned teamwork on parents' and coaches' part to figure out who can make which tournaments. If a coach can't make it, another coach or parent steps up to help out. If a parent can't make it, their kid hops in with a teammate for the weekend.

I’m not a travel ball proponent but some of us don’t punch a clock per se.

Travel ball makes me respect these kids in Williamsport way more. At least they actually had to win to get there

That’s the point. Travel ball kids pay to go to “World Series” across the south. Williamsport you actually have to make your all star team, win state, and win your regional.

Travel ball parents use all their vacation for the 17 World Series tournaments in Biloxi, Branson and Gulf Shores each year.

No shite this happened 15-20 years ago. It was actually the first time I’d ever even heard of travel ball and a sales guy “begged’” one of the owners to let his son play on the team.

Of course the owner ended up spending no telling what on the team for uniforms and travel. Even built the frickers a batting cage just for his kid to man right field for a few innings a weekend.

Gotta love salesmen

Those boys dropped by our tailgate that Home Game day when LSU honored them in Tiger Stadium. Was pretty damned cool.

They are all travel ball kids that go play one year of little league plus travel

As far as the OP are you under the impression that most travel kids are playing during the week?

Usually only the one end of the year tournament is end of the year tournament. Usually maybe 3 weekdays, I think I have enough Vacation to cover it.

Why you so worried about what other parents do? Do you even have kids? Your kids pmay sports?

My son loves playing baseball. Should I feel guilty about which league he plays in?

Disrespectful not to mention Brayden, Hayden, and Jaden.

The people that clown travel ball are more than likely unathletic losers.

They hate to be reminded of the genetics they passed down is my takeaway.

Those people are betas and have beta kids that will become beta adults.

Truth hurts.

But we all know “TherouxGuru” is latin for “travel ball king”.
