You clearly don't understand how Disabled Veterans works. It's perfectly legal and normal.

I have a friend who's 100% Disabled by the VA(fractured neck). He runs a tech company with clients all over the country.

If parents worked as hard on LIFE SKILL, problem solving, critical thinking VS sports we might have a chance as a country.
Living vicariously through your kids is sad is it
Lust ?

I never understood why this board hates on parents doing whatever they can to make their kids happy! God forbid they do everything they can to allow their kids to be kids and do something they love!

I do kt have a 2 year old daughter. No travel back kids. Just think y’all are weird who troubles themself with what others do.

So teamwork, leadership, competitiveness, communication, self-control, goal setting, time management, perseverance, mental toughness, emotional maturity, respect, courage, ethics, dealing with adversity, confidence, concentration, etc. aren’t good LIFE SKILLS?

So not doing travel ball is now not being supportive of your kids?

I hope for your kids sake they get an education and come out smarter than their daddy.

No but if your kid loves a sport but you make the decision for him at 8 or even 10 that you aren't gonna do travel or work a bunch with him because you feel like it's BS, then yea its not being supportive.

You say all of that, but you also have not seen league play, most I know who are anti-travel either don't have kids that play or have kids that are lazy and not into sports at all.
Coming home from work, popping open a beer and watching TV and ignoring your kids is not being supportive. Going to the camp every weekend to drink isn't either.

And Yea playing travel means you can't also be smart

Dude I'm an engineer and my kids make 4.0s, hopefully they are smarter than me. But don't think because my kids play travel ball I'm not smart or my kids aren't smart, promise that's not the case.

Love all the conclusions people draw about travel ball who have no clue about it at all and think everything g is like the very very top levels.

Va disability has nothing to do with that unless you get an unable to work rating which is stupid because you usually don't get extra money for that. My rating is 100% permanent and total so it's not eligible for review but it's not unable to work.va money isn't counted as income and it's tax free as well.

My kids will go to private school and have anything they want. Playing sports is good. Obsessing over it to the point it dominates your family's life is a little ridiculous. Especially at the age you're talking about.

Travel ball in my day was reserved for high school kids. Not a bunch of 7/8 year olds. That's a bit absurd IMO.

I haven't had to make those decisions yet, but my kids can do whatever they want. Travel ball though won't be part of the equation though, especially not at that age.

Oh okay. So was I earlier. I don't really give a shite one way or another how people value work and life balance, to each their own. Sometimes it's just fun to sound like a dick and push buttons. When I retire again in November I am done working for good.
