Tundra. Much more space inside and they usually have better incentives.

Yeah, that's why I dated my truck just in case things have changed. So you're saying the off road package nowadays are no smoother than those without it? I'll probably be buying a new one in a year or two.

You can't go wrong with either. Both are bullet proof vehicles.

2013 Tacoma RTD and I love it. Four wheel drive comes in handy living on the beach and the work I do. Wish my bed was a little bigger. No kids yet so thats not an issue.

2012 Tundra owner here. I have the crew max. I love it. I've driven small and midsized trucks in the past but not a Tacoma. (Dakota Sport and Ford Ranger, both years ago) But after having a full sized truck, I'll never go back. I'd get an SUV before getting a midsized truck again. An I don't need a fullsized truck for the activities I do, but it makes things easier. I've taken it on a few road trips, and its nice being able to seat 5 people comfortably. And the damn thing is a tank. Odds are, I'll never own anything I cant tow with it.

2010 Tacoma owner. I love it. When it dies, I'll be buying another one.

i've owned both . The Tacoma is nice but its very slow and space is limited in the back seat . Also , for the $$ i'd rather have a full size Tundra.

On the other hand, the Tundra is a BIG truck .. really big ( crewmax ) .

Id get the Tundra if I had to pick between the two.

I've had 2 Tacomas and 2 Tundras, wife currently drives a 4Runner.

Rolled the first Tundra several times, the 2nd was hit head on at 45mph by a Grand Cherokee (driver was high and crossed center, I didn't even have time to hit the brakes). Those trucks have saved my life more than once.

Tundra gets my vote.

I had a 16 Tacoma that was totaled a few months back.

It's fine when you test drive them. Then throw a duffle bag in the back seat, dog in passenger seat and ice chest in the bed. You realize how small it really is.

Back in an F150 now.

I have a 2007 Tundra with about 105k on it.

Went to the dealer in 07 to look at Tacomas, and the sales guy asked if I wanted to drive a Tundra.

The End

I recently went from a 2010 f150 to a 2017 Tacoma double cab. I'll say there are positives and negatives. The Tacoma back seat is definitely smaller but is fine to seat 2 people (or kids) back there. The negative is that you don't have much room for anything else with 2 back there. Bags, luggage, etc would have to go in the bed but they come with a hard tonneau cover. There are days where I still wish I had my f150 and others where I don't.

The biggest things missing (to me) are no power seats in any level of Tacoma, no rear air vents, and no ventilated seats option. I wanted a limited (dual air) without a sunroof but you can't get that. The sunroof takes a few inches of headroom away.

I've owned both. Had a Tacoma, traded it in for the Tundra, then went back to the Tacoma.

The Tacoma now is bigger. I just found the Tundra to be too big.

Get a V6 Tacoma and you will be happy.

Now if you have several kids (more than two), then get the Tundra.

Tundra is still nice, but I would like a redesign. But with a complete redesign, it'll probably lose some reliability as it is close to bullet-proof right now.

If you just want to look like a man by owning a truck, buy a Taco. They can't even haul a pallet in the bed. Buy a real truck, and go Tundra. 3/4 level build underneath, with half ton springs. Gas mileage sucks for both.

I couldn't sit comfortably in the Tacoma. My legs are too long. I went Tundra Crewmax and I don't regret it. I love the room.
