Oklahoma TV weather is special... these things seem odd in most parts of the country, but it's normal there.

Which makes you think they could handle it more responsibly. Birmingham, AL has two of the best mets for severe weather coverage, James Spann and James-Paul Dice.

When shite like this ramps up you know you won't be watching any network programming for the night, rightfully so.

Emily Sutton is on that storm and they aren't seeing anything on the ground with it right now. Seems to be a trend across Ok right now, strong mesos but only briefly producing tornadoes.

Possibly four tornadoes down now. Two near OK/KS border, two closer to OKC.

Our farm is slap in the middle of that, Comanche county ks.

Keep your head down and good luck today.

Thank you for that, but we live in BR. You could call me a gentleman farmer, but it doesn't throw off enough money to earn that title.

The incredibly powerful Greensburg tornado barely missed our farm and ruined a number of people that we know. I'm sure the locals are watching this nervously.

The one that hit Elk city yesterday couldn't be seen either because of the rain wrapped around it. Had to get used to dodging tornadoes when I moved up here(Oklahoma) from Bossier city.
