That photo blows the photo of the new York woman standing in the street being arrested away.

The Lil girls crying is gut wrenching.

A very poignant photo indeed, thoughts to the family and purely senseless crime.

But, personally, if I and my family were going through this most difficult time, I'd rather the photographers not be taking photos of us out of respect.

When my father passed away, my mother,too was given a folded American flag. My father's death was routine, he had had Alzheimers and died in his 80s and it w as a small funeral. Of course there were no media there, but it would have been a bit perturbed had they been there.

A petty complaint of mine ,for sure, comparing to this family , but just my .02.

I understand your sentiment, but this is different.

People need to see and understand the pain that has been inflicted. I'm sure she would do anything to help someone else not have to experience this.
