funny y'all are bringing up quiz bowl stuff, this Matt dude is apparently known as one of the legitimate GOATs of college quiz bowls.

Funny how the game vs Peter Griffin went. At the start of double jeopardy, they were tied at 8k, he stormed to rack up a ton of $ while ole Peter lost 4k.

My grandmother was a huge fan of Jeopardy. Back in the day when she was still alive and living with us she would watch it every day on our satellite at a specific time. Well her and my stepfather never got along and just to get under her skin he would go in his bedroom and watch the same episode that was airing on an east coast channel an hour or two before the one she watched and then go in there with her and answer all the questions he heard already. I figured it out after 1-2 episodes what he was doing but she never did. It was hilarious. She was a mean old bat.

Two worst parts of jeopardy
1: the "meet the contestant" block. No one cares about your funny story about how you love jeopardy. We need to finish the first round. I'm tired of running out of time with 3 answers left on the board
2: Trebek spilling useless knowledge in a game filled with useless knowledge. You aren't the star Alex so back off. Plus you have a card to read off of. No one is impressed. You are wasting my time. Next question. Now!

He only does it after daily doubles or when none of the contestants know the right answers. I like it, actually. Trebek is a boss.

He should have lost one day, but they didn't deduct the proper amount on his daily double. He said "5.....thousand" and got it wrong. They only deducted $5.
