Umm...there isn't really any closer parking. Unless you're bitching cause you can't find a spot in that lot right next to the police station that everyone parks in.

A lot of people go to that campus. There's a lot of parking. Not everyone will be able to just go park in the closest spot. There's always space to park though.

....LSU is a state institution that is underfunded. There are going to be problems. That said, get into the honors program, join a greek organization, get an on campus job, volunteer with the school lab....there is sooooo much opportunity - to focus on negatives is bad when there is so much opportunity.

This is not Stanford, Vandy, Emory, heck even Tulane.....we are taking about LSU. That said, there is so much opportunity with academics, extracurricular and social events that there should never be a dull moment.

Any situation is what you make out it. Go out and help make your university, whatever it may be, a better place for current and future students.

I got my 30+ at UL-M. I did not bitch about it......I got involved with the department and university. I made lifelong connections and friends at a university I did not want to go to after receiving my undergrad degree.
