This is today at Starbucks. A got damn great Dane?!? You cannot be fricking serious. This service dog shite has to stop.
PS that frumpy bitch named the dog Bama as evidenced by his "service dog" vest.

dogs are awesome. I'm always in favor of more dogs.
If it makes this lady happy and it's a well trained dog who gives a frick.

I agree, you can't by law question them either. Get a vest on Amazon and voila you have a service dog.
Shocked I only saw four at Disney. (they even have special bathroom break areas for service dogs)

Service dogs are a complete sham outside of a very few situations.
What does the vest say? "Don't pet me. I'm working"?

Those 2 pictures are gold.
First pic: woman realizes shes busted for being nuts (you can see it in her eyes)
Second pic: shields the dog as if to protect him from reality.
Priceless.

Looks like she appreciates you stalking her and her dog.

I am cool with vets taking a dog wherever they want

Why? For what purpose? Just because?
Scruffy has no issue with vets being afforded more respect and, in a few instances, more rights, but why should they be permitted to take a service dog anywhere just because they are a vet.

That woman in the OP is an attention whore.

Meh... if they're not trying to eat my food, and they're not shitting in my vicinity, then I have no problem with them at all. Even if it is just an "anxiety" dog... if it helps that person, if it helps some kid do better in school, or if it keeps someone off some medication they might otherwise need, then the more dogs the better.
Of course, any dog that truly assist (for the blind, deaf, physically disabled, those prone to seizures, etc,) then I'm 100% okay with them.

It helps them with PTSD
Plus dogs rock

Yeah... it's getting silly..
There is a student at LSU with a "Comfort Rabbit/bunny"..
IT's weird to see..
My brother did buy a vest just to fly his dog from new york to Seattle.. He said everyone knew he was full of shite, but it seemed no one cared..

This is a growing problem on the campus where I work. It seems like one in ten students has a dog in tow everywhere they go.
Culling out the "comfort" animals - those not trained to provide a service - from the true service animals is the solution, but implementation and enforcement is tricky based on the questions you're allowed by law to ask.
It's a clusterf*ck. And there's sh*t everywhere.

Because for some vets suffering from severe PTSD....the service dogs are calming for them. Many of them have seen shite I hope I never see with my eyes in my lifetime. I'm ok if instead of ignoring the warning signs of PTSD...they get help and get a dog that keeps them calm in ordinary day to day activities.
