No. Not a lefty. But I am a diabetic with a diabetic alert dog and it gets annoying as frick when a person that has a service dog is in a place like Home Depot or Sears or wherever and people like you or the OP start crying like little girls because someone brought a dog into the store because you're offended.

The overwhelming number of people I know with them have them for fricking anxiety.

My dog serves me very well for my blood sugar issues. And believe me, I have had dumb frickers in places like Sears, Kohl's and Lowe's throw a fit because they have to share a store with a dog. It's enough to piss a person off and I have gotten to a point where I respond back to those ignorant shitheads.

So my response to the OP was justified in my mind as to him running his fricking mouth without him knowing any of the woman's medical history. If a person with a service dog is in the same store as you and you don't like it, walk away, stay away from them, that's easy enough.

When I'm out with my dog, I try to stay away from most people out of respect for their privacy. Sometimes it can't be avoided but the negative comments are uncalled for. I don't like being a diabetic, but it's the hand I was dealt and when my dog and I are in a store, I want the same respect from people that they want from me concerning my dog.

Even going the legit route it's very simple to get service dog credentials.

I have a service dog. He's cleaner and more well-behaved than most people's kids. Never had anyone say shite to me for bringing him anywhere.

I love it when I walk into a liberal haven like Starbucks with my G19 on my hip and it's like Moses parting the Red Sea.

I've walked into Starbucks after hunting in full camo with a pistol on my hip and no one seemed to care or notice. I didn't try to make a spectacle of myself or prove a point.

I'm just a man that really likes White Chocolate Mochas.

But on topic with the OP, I see it alot flying these days. Just a couple years ago you rarely saw a dog on a flight, and now it's rare to be on a flight without a dog. A few months ago, I had an aisle seat and the middle seat person had a large golden retriever. The dog was really cool, but it made for a really cramped flight.

Its the fault of you entitled pet owners. You were left at home when your parents went to the store for errands. You survived.

LEAVE THE DAMN DOG AT HOME!!!! Nobody wants to see your damn dog!!

PTSD is going to be the new ADD/ADHD.

I don't agree with that but I do remember a guy on here basically using it as an excuse for one of the cops that shot a kid with a toy gun. When I questioned whether a police force would actually hire someone with it, he said his father and his brother were both LE, both suffered from it, but were fine if they took medication.

I'm I wrong for questioning the hiring of a veteran with PTSD as a police officer? It seems like nearly all of the people getting into LE are ex military. I guess it should be expected some might suffer from it, but should we be handing out guns to those guys?
