The Seigen exit should be shut down

Don't dare get into the left turning lane to try and get onto Seigen lane from the interstate. For some reason the people in the turning lane to get on the interstate always block the lane. So the right lane moves and the left lane sits waiting on some jackass blocking the turning lane. It happens every time I'm there.

I avoid Siegen Lane at all costs unless it's between 7-10pm

This happens too much in all major cities. In ATL getting into the connector 85/75 merge from 20 there are always the people passing everyone waiting in the two right merge lanes to cut in front this blocking the people passing the merge from being able to pass with ease. About once a month they will have 3 state troopers there standing outside their cars motioning the people cutting in line and blocking the others to pull over (there is a solid white line so the merge at that point is illegal crossing).

This should done parish wide. Plenty of lights around town that are turning green and 100yds up the light is turning red.

The lights need to be synced better. It's so bad there.
Different area, but the Old Perkins & Bluff Rd light is so bad. They leave it green on the Bluff side for too long, so traffic on Perkins heading towards Pville gets backed up for no reason.

The entire Seigen/I-10 exits & entrances should be a massive traffic circle.

It's one a-hole in a Suburban that blocks the entire left lane not allowing probably 20 cars to go through the light. It's maddening. And if I'm #1 at the light I lay on my horn the entire time. I want them to feel shame.

Every major intersection in Baton Rouge suffers from cars getting caught in the intersection during a light cycle. It backs everything up even worse. I don't understand why people can't stop before the intersection when traffic in front of them is obviously not moving.

They're not getting caught off guard...they're deliberately driving into dead-stopped traffic knowing full well the light will turn red. They're breaking the law.
