I had a teacher in high school who was a green beret.. He uses to walk around with a long wooden stick and poke u if he thought u were sleeping or not paying attention.. I said coach don't make me beat u up and he replied I remember just enough of the special forces to get me killed
And no dirty jokes about him poking his students with his long wooden stick

Destroying people's faces for money.
Oh and coaching football.
As well as being a solid poster here.

I've known two, you would NEVER suspect either of them. One was a captain at the PD i worked at, pretty low key, but could bring it when necessary.

He is the Frank Dux of our generation.

When we have a very high valued hostage being held and we HAVE go get them back, who do we send in? Like we absolutely need to get the target back, who is the best at going in, extracting, and getting the hell out?

Frank Dux wasn't on a video game though.

I am good friends with 5 former seals and 1 former delta. All high school friends except one who is the brother of a high school friend. Like most others have said, you would never know it by looking at them. I have lost touch with a friend who was a green beret, but he was noticeably crazy.

Delta, best on the planet for that.

Depends on who's most up to strength-has fewer operators on leave, on training courses, etc at the given moment. And which unit has more stroke at the higher chain of command level. And who the President and SecDef like better.

Also geographical location and terrain characteristics come into play.

Just curious what his training is in. We have had quite a few active duty guys train with us from time to time. I am pretty impressed with the Army guys as they use the Gracie Combatives system which blends ground work where the Marines martial arts system is more hand to hand stuff that doesn't focus near as much on the ground element.
No clue what SEALS use.

Delta. But they bust in yelling "Navy Seals!!!! We're here to save you. Navy Seals!!!"

There are 2.5k - 3k active duty navy seals currently in a country with a population of ~313 MM. Factor in a attrition / average time spent in the teams, etc. and you still don't get to 0.001% of the broader population being associated...and you know five.
Unless you live in Little Creek or Coronado, I highly doubt your claims.
