I think that if your step son and his girlfriend are not married, then the woman in question is not a mother in law. She may be a grandmother, but she is not your step son's mother in law.

you need to get a custody plan on paper and ensure he never marries this girl. you also need all the donations and paperwork regarding the house SUV, and land to be in writing and filed. i might not even let the mom live in the house

Stepson and gf, got pregnant with a few weeks of starting to date.(Our families are lifelong friends). Her pills "failed" she claims. Ok. We all pretty much know she did it on purpose. We do love the girl but it is extremely immature, selfish and manipulative to do such a thing.

"My daughter and her new SUV. I'm so proud of all she has accomplished and what she has to show for it".

That's the kind of shite she posts.

Some background: My husband's son has been lifelong friends with his current gf. Our son and the girl's dad have been lifelong friends as well. The girls dad is divorced from the dad and the mom the kind of person that ran up a $600 bill on our acct and has NEVER paid it. ( We were being nice and gave her 2 phones to use on our acct.)

Husband's son is in his mid 20's and the girl just graduated HS last year. We love her but she is young, has unrealistic views on life, thinks like is like a romance novel. We are happy they are together and they make a good couple.

So how to we put a stop to her unwanted opinions and interference in things that have nothing to do with her (ie the SUV, propertuy, house. etc)

TL;DR - son's gf got pregnant on purpose and her mom contributes NOTHING to help but freely offers her opinion on how we what we ought to be doing.

Keep the vehicle, house and property in your name. It is time to tell the son to grow up and let the MIL know that She is welcome to visit a bit but she needs to maintain, and stay at her residence.

Pregnant girl needs to continue her education. It is OK for her to earn too.
