Probably good for the industry, as more competition may lead to better candidates

I think you've misspelled "drastically reduce entry-level wages." Have you not paid attention to the employment market over the past 40ish years?

Yea I am thinking about possible going back in 5 years or so for a O&G MBA at one of the TX schools depending on how everything shakes out.

Ha. In 1999 when I a group of us were all starting at LSU, one of our group had a great scholarship in PE. Most thought it might not be a smart move since we wouldn't be using oil for much longer with all of the new technology coming out.

don't hold your breath. If the universities were truly honest, they'd be out of business in a year.

Could you imagine if all universities and their various colleges were that frank with their students? It would absolutely devastate the liberal arts programs.

It was refreshing to see them level set the applicant.

FatNeck what you doing off the OB, got me thinking alter alert.

And yes I am not in PETE but am/will be in O&G. I know a good bit about waiting tables and a shite ton of other shite jobs for that matter.

And I wouldnt frick with college bc I wouldn't have needed to. My arse would be in some island right now getting massaged by three topless Latinas while I drank some fruity arse drink.

As far as the future price and market, it will prob be down slightly for the next 2-3 years but the long term is still good. If I was you I would go something other PETE, MECH or CHEM bc they are much more versatile and you can still do O&G with them.

Son,

I am old man, just valeu GREENHEAD opinion so much I may go to school for PETE degree depending on his advice. He told me once he was driller on a rig in Titusville PN? He and a certain MR DRAKE drilled with cable tool and discover rock oil, very interesting guy. Thats how he knows so much about O&G.

Thats why his name is GREENHEAD, he and DRAKE were quite the team.
