In the 70s,80s, even 90s. Apparently LSU isnt as fun as it was, and LSU hasnt been in the top 10 party schools for a while

$0.25 beer at Murphys, Drinking with Lincoln at TA's Tavern and South Seas. All institutions that no longer exist.

Ben Wynn and the closing of the 18 to buy, 21 to drink loophole both happened around the same time (summer/fall of 95). Prior to this time, there were kegs at fraternity parties at the house on campus. I remember spring testing getting drunk on keg beer as a high schooler in the spring of '94 in the courtyard between East and West Laville at a dorm sponsored party. It all changed after '95.

Frats could have parties at their houses. Live bands after football games. Thursday night exchanges with sororities with beer on tap and sometimes open bars. Beer trucks in the front yard for Bid Night. As others have said, South Seas. Hell, even dorms would have parties with alcohol served.
Fred's Sunset Club on Fridays. Quarter beer at Murphy's on Tuesday nights.

Wednesday for 1 call brands at Murphys, Thursday afternoon at Fred's, then off to the frat house for the exchange. Saturday drinking before walking to the stadium with a three liter coke bottle with it filled with bourbon and no one even stopped you
