I was at LSU late eighties to early nineties. Remember running from the union on bid night to my fraternity where two Budweiser beer trailers full of kegs waited. Worked the door at Murphy's, TA's , Doc's, the varsity when it first opened. Regular week was dollar calls at murphy's on Mondays, free pool at the bayou on Tuesday, nickel beer at doc's on wed, Fred's on Thursday afternoon before exchanges, beat the clock at sports on Fridays or sitting in the frat house yard drinking. Would go back to 1987 in a heartbeat if I had the chance.

The SAE's would drill golf balls on the FIJI house on a near-daily basis.

tGOAT (pun intended) LSU party days

Wish I was at school at LSU during these times

Although the very early 2000's were pretty bad arse, the rising up from the rubble in football to start the dynasty was a cool feeling. Every game meant something and we weren't expecting every single win.

The wildest stories were while I was in Kirby Smith. I knew I was in for a wild time when those baws from Slidell pried open the window and ran a garden hose funnel down to the ground. Went to a frat party and barely recall anything after the first hour but apparently I had fun. It took a while the next morning to figure out where I parked the car but I do recall sliding to within about a foot of the barricade on W Lakeshore. My buddy carried a guy down to NO to get something and ended up with enough party favors in his truck to get 5-10 in the pen.

Once I moved off campus we hit the bars but nothing ever compared to that year in the dorms. I did have some great times in the quarter. I spent a lot of my parents money at Sports and The Tiger when I should have been studying.

The wildest hookup was the sexy blond I'd had in a class who had flunked out and became a dancer at SC. Going home once a month to see the good girl and coming back to hang with the wild one. I was naive enough to believe they only danced. I can still picture that brunette who kept smiling when we went to the dorm exchange party with Miller, I wish I had taken my chances with out kicking the coverage

Beer trucks in the front yard for Bid Night.

He's literally talking about a beer truck straddling the sidewalk leading to the house's front door. As soon as pledges got there, they were held under one of the four taps on the side of the truck until they started choking. The cops could have been driving by and not said a thing.

I used to go to the White Horse Saloon (a drinking bar) across from the Bengal (more of a picking up women bar). Came down while I was still 17 my senior year during Greek Week and drank $1.00 pitchers every night that week. As long as you had on a frat shirt, no one asked for ID.

I can't imagine not being to drink my whole four years of college. I can't imagine not being able to put a flask in one of my pants pockets and walk into Tiger Stadium. My brother was a senior my freshman year. His gf brought a quart tupperware pitcher of scotch in her purse.

Hatcher dorm we had a bar in the basement.

I was at TA's from the day it opened till it closed so they could remodel the Chimes. Out of all the bars I worked at that was my favorite one. Would pick up a sorositute and have her wait for us to cleanup and then walk her back to my room at the KA house through the hole in the fence by the SAE house. Good times.....Took a case of those TA's drinking with Lincoln cups when we cleaned out storage after we closed. I think I lost the last one sometime in a move in 2012.

A DWI was no big deal back then (in the early 80s). We didn't think twice about drinking and driving.

Oh, and Hatcher dorm had a bar in the basement. You could always find a game of "Quarters" going on.
