Wrapping back up between North Bibb and West Blocton.

Homewood, Hoover, Helena, and Alabaster all in the new polygon.

Was trying to get a picture of our area posted but TD doesn't like where I hosted it.

I have a couple of inches of snow over a layer of ice from rain last night. Haven't really seen too much different from a normal day though. Accumilation seems to have stopped, so once the roadways clear, they will stay clear.

Did I miss something (I am in DFW)?

Kinda feel the only reason why this is a 30 page thread is because of the ice bitch slap from last year.

Fortunately, it hasn't looked as strong or as good structurally as it did South of Moundville. It keeps trying, but every time it wraps it sort of falls apart. Still, take cover when it gets closer to you.

Most of those 30 pages are just discussion leading up to it. Most of the previous pages have been due to the severe threat in AL and the confirmed tornado earlier.

I bet the TW gets dropped soon. That storm has split and the rotation has broadened significantly.

And they dropped it.

UPDATE: We are cancelling the tornado warning for Bibb/Tuscaloosa/Shelby/Jefferson Counties. This cancels the tornado warning for the Birmingham metro.

Roads should be good tomorrow. I’m more worried about the ice after the melt tomorrow and freeze at night.

Depending on how dry the air is tonight and tomorrow, it might not be as bad as you think. A lot of times the melt day evaporates a lot of it away, but with it covered with snow that will take a little longer.
