This is probably the trashiest of these options. Because at least the rest of them know that they are trashy. I don't have kids but I have a tatto that represents all the people that have made me the person I am today (parents, siblings, and grandparents). I have flowers that represent each of them on my arm.
Take your time and make sure it is something you want and find a good artist. Remember a good tattoo isn't cheap and a cheap tattoo isn't good.
