Thinking that moving from br to central is going to make a major difference is still part of the flawed thinking. If you have the ability to move, move out of the state. You’ll never even consider going back

I moved from St George to Zachary as a holding action, as I wanted to still be near family and I had a job requiring me to be in the capitol area.

Family’s aging and dying off, job is nearing retirement, and the kids are getting close to being done with school.

If I get a chance to leave, I hope I am in a position to never come back.

so about that, My neighborhood and the ones around me voted against it. How were we roped into this. I'm not against an area incorporating if it wants but why did I not get a say in how the lines were drawn. Can my neighborhood back out. Will of the people my arse. Quit crying because the organizers tempter tantrum vote sidestepped the rules and misrepresented themselves.

Lol, the organizers and what they did was unbelievable. Every watchdog group in BR watched their every move. All the downtown power brokers tried to stop them at every turn knowing that if SG won the gravy train would be derailed.

So because I voted against Joe Biden, should I be able to opt out of the high inflation and runaway gas prices. I didn't get a say in how democratic cities subverted their election laws. There was an election, and despite the city's best effort, St. George won and is the will of the people.

This only became an issue once some clown judge decided the will of thousands of people hinged on whether a proposed new city could potentially balance its budget. That a-hole has no clue, none.

Not to mention, he somehow argues this point after hearing witness after witness from Baton Rouge COMPLETELY OUTRIGHT PROVE, under oath, that they had no idea how to balance their own budget whatsoever.

Someone said that the argument this judge made might be even easier to refute than if he'd passed it in the first place. Maybe he did us a favor.

Last I checked, 17,422 is greater than 14,871, but I guess Baton Rouge math is different.
