Southwest is the most overrated airline

-Free checked bags doesn't automatically mean it's a good deal
-Outdated fleet
-Clientele gets trashier and trashier as it becomes the "hip" airline
-Picking your own seat is a stupid gimmick

Haven't checked their prices lately but last time I did they were on par, and in some cases, more expensive than UA, AA, and DA.

Flying with them this fall. Is it really that bad?

Last time I flew southwest I paid extra for priority boarding bc I had my son with me in lap.
A1, was the 40th person on the plane bc of all the old people who "needed assistance" who all proceeded to sit in the middle seat of each row.

My husband and I missed out departure to Seattle a few years ago and they canceled our return flight. I'll never forgive them for that... Not that they care.

I've taken that exact flight multiple times. That walk all the way to the end of the concourse at Atl airport is brutal. Spirit clientele is shite but the fleet itself is better than most Delta, UA and SW planes I've been in.
