Like Italians putting eggs in spaghetti

This is done in place of meatballs for St. Joseph's Day and other religious holidays. We also use bread crumbs and sugar instead of cheese on top of the spaghetti to resemble sawdust since Joseph was a carpenter.

If it's a 20 something year old couple, fresh out of college, getting a life started I'm all for it. If it's a 30 something couple with established careers etc., I say skip it.

I'll go with that too.

We had one. Got almost $2k out of it and we were early 20's.

Open bar. No money dance. Nice expensive wedding gift. The way it should be.

That's how we did it.

Open bar
Good food
Good band.

It's a party we invited people to and in our case, paid for. I don't want your money. Money dances, in my opinion, are trashy AF! Especially multiple money dances.

The OT worries about the dumbest shite. When do you find time to bitch about things like this, get a job or something.

We're going to have songs as necessary until the people stop lining up with cash. If you don't want to participate, don't.

Depends on the circumstances IMO.

Established 30 year olds getting married? Tacky.

Recent college grads just getting started? I'll allow it.

I always liked it because it was the perfect opportunity to ask the bride which bridesmaids would put out.
Quid pro quo.

It's a third world tradition that was somehow picked up by regular good old USA white trash. Seriously.

Anyone who says it's a cultural tradition better have direct family ties to Poland or the Philippines
