When he seizes, his body becomes rigid he just convulses all over. He also foams at the mouth and goes to the bathroom on himself. After it ends, he looks like he is dead for about a minute. Then he comes around and looks dazed and confused for about 3-4 minutes like he doesn't remember anything. The he will return to normal.

best thing to do is hold them and keep them comfortable until it passes

It's awful to watch. Mine will shake and lose control of his functions. Usually after a couple of minutes he will wake up and sometimes have problems walking. But after a few hours he starts to be himself again.

You make out ok in the flood?
Yes!
We had water all around us (on roads), like many - but no water in our neighborhood (close).
Unfortunately, many of our friends and family weren't so lucky. My parents ' house took in a little water, so there's that. Fortunately for them, they had flood insurance. I told them to consider this a forced remodel.
How about you?

The good news is that once your vet figures out exactly what it is, your dog will bounce back quickly.

How old, we have one at 6 years old now.

We had a yorkie with epilepsy. With small dogs it's probably associated with hypoglycemia, at least ours was, if he hadn't eaten that day and got all worked up he would seize.
It's scary as crap but you have to be calm. If you freak out they freak out. We would wrap him in a wet towel, and just hold him tight and calm him down.
We put him on phenobarbital and he went 2 years seizure free.

that sounds exactly like what happened, it was painful to watch the blanket he was on was wet, don't know if it was from the drooling or he lost control of his bladder, This sucks!!!!!

i just noticed your handle is "ole man"
guess that would have answered the question on the sweet wood panel walls. my grandpa had that.
your other dog probably misses his Partner in crime.
