It seems very common for doxie homes to have a pair. After reading this thread, I can't believe how many people have these little guys running around. I had a friend who had a long and short-haired pair. They were pretty hilarious. Glad Buster is feeling better!

Great news! One more dox fiend. Could not imagine not having one and I have a pile of Labradors around. The Dox is the boss of all he surveys.

Our dachshund had seizures and was on phenobarbital for a few years until we figured out that it was pesticide causing the seizures. We couldn't use flea spray/shampoo or anything. Glad you figured that out after his first seizure. We felt bad that we took so long to realize the cause of the seizures.
