couldn't hardly walk very very wobbly, drooling badly,
vet couldn't detect any toxins from blood work, thinks it may be epileptic seizure. Just spoke with nurse, he had a full on seizure a while ago, On IV for fluids and Diazepan

my chihuahua has seizures every now and then

best thing to do is hold them and keep them comfortable until it passes

Sherwood Animal Hospital?

How old is your boy?

Dogs are family. Do what you need to do to make sure he is healthy and safe.

My dog has been fighting seizures for about two years. He is on phenobarbital and zonisamide and it controls it fairly well. He's been seizure free for 5 months at the moment.

Sorry to hear that. One of my dogs, a terrier, has epilepsy extremely bad. Our vet has him on phenobarbital twice a day to help prevent the seizures. It helps, but he still has a seizure about 2 x a month.

Dogs are resilient they bounce back fast, hopefully they can put him on some meds that will control them.

I can deal with that, Just hope it's not a poison, so far they don't detect any toxin.

The good news is that once your vet figures out exactly what it is, your dog will bounce back quickly.

I'm looking at my two right now, one is almost 14 and the other is 1.5. Truly thankful for them as they bring a lot of joy to me and my family.

to yours getting well!
