What has to be investigated is do these men become priests because they are already phidofiles and it gives them greater access to kids or do they develop into abusers after they become priests.

If your kid goes to a catholic school, talk to their counselors and principals about how your kids are being kept safe. This has to stop. End rant.

When my son started Catholic school I just asked them for all info on any credibly accused faculty or church staff. The were appalled I asked, and I'm sure they might have lied. But at least i have a written response of them covering it up if it ever comes out. Time to burn down that institution and start over.

You're upset that the church doesn't sell away priceless art to feed the hungry?

Thank you for sharing. I agree with a lot of your points. You mentioned being around the church a lot.

Have you even met Aymond? And if so, what would you say to him today about all these recent allegations? What questions would you have for him about how things can improve going forward? Do you think he needs to go, and if not, what can he do better to gain the trust of Catholics on the fence with their faith?

I’m genuinely curious.
It's aging him and with a quickness, along with the bankruptcy process that is still happening.
Anything you could say to him are things he has, likely, said to himself as well.

Are these hundreds, allegedly, all new claims or simply again an anti-Catholic writer looking to stoke fires of anti-Catholic rhetoric? and keep names in the news?

He will submit his mandatory retirement in two years when he hits 75.

I guess you've never heard of Ramon Vargas.

Aymond should be a man and do it himself.

Everything I hear about Aymond is that he's a bit of a jerk.

That said, some of the best priests I know have a rough edge around them.

If he's been part of a coverup, he needs to go. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I would add that the one institution that would be last to uphold LGBTQ+ teaching is the Church.

We are a refuge from that, especially our schools by and large.

Now that's not to say you don't have LGBTQ+ people lurking in positions of authority in the Church. Because you do.

Uhh... yeah...

If they had a shred of integrity or believed anything that they preached they would sell every single asset they could.

Not shocked one bit, never am shocked by these stories, never will be. Aymond knows so much sin and wrong that has occurred, there is no telling what he has covered up or knows about. Also, the catholic church is a crooked as a dog's hind leg

Then there would be no more church and there would be just as many hungry people.

Most of which the church doesn't even own, but is only the caretaker thereof.

This is crazy sick. I know it's not all priests, most or what ever word you want to say, but it is sad that this continues to haunt and affect children's lives every day. They have to get this under control. Just stop letting priests have 1 on 1 contact with children. Take a big step towards protecting children.
