Brooks brothers never has my size or a good comor/pattern when they have a sale. It took me forever to find another color of the pants I like in my size.

Mine are almost all Brooks Brothers but I feel like the collars on my newer BB shirts are different than in the past. Much shittier. I need to switch.

If you are on a budget Charles Tyrwhitt is a good choice. If you have all of the money, my favorite two button downs are Thom Browne.

I really like Patrik Ervell's shirts as well.

Hate having to wear button downs because they never stay tucked in on me. Prefer to wear khakis, a polo shirt, and a sportcoat. But when I do wear button downs, I prefer

Pretty cheap shirts, but they're pretty durable. And I like how the collars remain standing.

And how does everyone get away with not having to iron? Never met a pair of no-iron shirts or pants that looked crisp enough not to have to iron.

Not exactly. There's this thing called the internet....

Turnbull & Asser Website, Shop Online

True, there is the Internet, but my Turnbull & Asser shirts are bespoke.

They are somewhat expensive, but I didn't purchase for myself, but rather they were a gift from my grandfather.

i've always gone with Express 1MX Extra Slim Fit shirts... Little snug in the shoulders, but at least I don't have 45 ft. of extra fabric around my waist....

Brooks brothers have been my shirt for several years, but they're quality is declining too. Still better than Jos. A Bank. I only buy them twice a Year. Semi annual sale usually results in being able to get them for under $50 each.

I may try roundndtree and York though.

CT and Lands End non-iron are probably the best bang for the buck.

The round tree and York gold label is good. Got a few at the last Dillard's close out sale for super cheap (like 15 bucks/shirt) and they're solid. I mainly wear those and brooks bros. A few polos here and there for casual Fridays.

I've never understood this, do you have such a disfigured body that you need custom made shirts?

My costs are great: $45/each.

I also have an athletic upper body: 44" chest and a 32" waist. Most of the shirts off the rack that are worth a shite cost the same or more, and are a universal fit for average joes.

Better deal all around for me.

How do Tyrwhitt shirts fit? For someone that's slim but retains some semblance of muscle mass, am I better off with slim or traditional fit?
