No reason to defend the cops here. Yes black woman could have avoided this by just saying my name is... but that's not the point. No reason to arrest her in the first place. They said there was no evidence of a crime, so just command them both to leave the school and report the situation to the school authorities. If one refuses to leave, then you have reason to arrest them.

the woman turned to walk away period while giving attitude. She deserved what she got. She does that shite again guess what? Same fricking thing will happen to her again.Maybe if it happens enough times she might start to get the picture. I kinda doubt it though.

Why was she only charged with resisting arrest? Doesn't there need to be a charge you're being arrested for before you can resist that arrest? Any time I see someone is only arrested for resisting arrest I can pretty much guarantee it's bullshite.

the black lady was at fault...she was not an innocent by stander, she was party to the reason the cops were called in the first place so they had every right to ask for her id.
Loud and confrontational in public, disrespectful of authority and finally combative she got what was coming.
