It might seem petty to some people, but the littering and general lack of respect for nature and property makes me want to leave this state forever. It's disgusting.

La. is the worst State for this, from what I've seen. Not sure why it's so socially acceptable to trash the State. It's like people have no pride in anything.

I throw my cig butts inside a plastic water bottle which I then put inside of a plastic bag and then I discard on the nearest street

Nope. Actually, La. is 43rd of all states, just slightly worse than Alaska at 37th.
