I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Like Mr Lore, I ONLY need $400 billion and some land.

Sounds like an awful modernist hellscape. No thanks.

So no Democrats and few minorities.

Good luck with that.

The ambitious 150,000-acre proposal promises eco-friendly architecture, sustainable energy production and a purportedly drought-resistant water system. A so-called "15-minute city design" will allow residents to access their workplaces, schools and amenities within a quarter-hour commute of their homes.

Naw thanks I will stick to my 20 acre farm with a creek running through it full of Kentucky red eyed bass and white perch. But yall enjoy!.... Agenda 21 er 30 shite right there

A big city like that will bring a certain amount of poverty and crime.

They won’t/can’t adopt rules that will ever make that go away.

They’ll try to address it like every big city tries to.

And it will end up just being another big city. Or else it will fail and become a giant expensive ghost town.

A bit oxymoronic right off the top.

A real eco-friendly design would incorporate infill development, not introduce new development into an area without water resources.

Hey Marc Lore use your own damn Walmart money and build the city and stay out of the tax payers pockets.

Where will the undocumented, welfare recipients and refugees fit in?

There will be a separate city built on side of this one. And the only way to get into the good city is to have a vax card and not be poor.

I have an idea for a 5 million person city in the desert, too.

Just build a wall around it and throw all the communists inside it. Then I'll sit back and watch as their beautiful utopia encounters great success.

They will build a pipeline from areas where it rains a lot (like Louisiana this summer with all the rain) to the new city..

They found a way to do it with Las Vegas, but this guy is dreaming if he thinks this plan will work.

I would like to see new cities be built that would be more adaptable to today's America because most cities have become a shell of themselves because it was build around America of its time, but it can be done without having to do it in the desert.

I don't see a problem with that plan, Duke.
