“Not nearly enough” - that one dumbass on the MSB who thinks it costs $100 billion to build an NFL stadium.

They will build a pipeline from areas where it rains a lot (like Louisiana this summer with all the rain) to the new city..

They found a way to do it with Las Vegas, but this guy is dreaming if he thinks this plan will work.

You think Vegas gets its water from somewhere like Louisiana?

The frick?

Unless this city has its own sovereignty, homeless will flock to it.

Desert seems silly when they could find a place with 4 seasons and abundant water in Tennessee or Missouri or something like that.

1,500 acres ain’t shite.

That was horribly worded.

The first sentence was a joke then I went on to say they found away to do it with Las Vegas... As in.. Build a city in the desert.. Not build a pipeline from Louisiana to pip in water..

Seems like a pretty substantial waste of $400 billion but it wouldn’t be the first time someone wasted $400 billion.

Build it in Kanada.

Seriously successful cities exist for a reason, a major port, large industries, or a financial center. Very few cities exist for entertainment/resort reasons. Walt Disney built one.

In the desert? Brilliant more water being transported to somewhere we shouldn't have millions of people living.

Man are people stupid.

I’m no city planner, but I’ve identified the future failure of this proposed plan.

You need to e-mail Mayor Broome with your idea so it can be added the Capitol Area Drainage Plan. Let’s have the OweO Pipeline begin underneath the Siegen Lane overpass.

I don’t know. The pedo you support decided to destroy a lot of American jobs and wealth when he cancelled one.

I want to build a sustainable city in Antarctica.

I just need someone to give me $500 billion to build it.

$400B/50k residents= $8M/person

If the end goal is 5M residents then only 80k/person.

Why not just do it now with cheap interest rates? conservative crowd sourced private city.

5M people can get 80k construction loans ($400/month each person)

Build the “private” city from scratch in 5-10 years
Same size as San Francisco. 10 years at 400/month=$48k per person.

Seems once it’s built it will likely sell for more than the $50k invested, so move or turn a profit.

All it takes is marketing and construction plans.

Here’s 200,000 acres for $20 million in Utah.

LINK

Or 120,000 acres in Colorado for $26M. The influx of 5M conservatives will flip the state from blue to red.
