I'm not sure if this thread is motivating me or making me want to quit running altogether. I hate cursive and I hate all of you!

once or twice a week.....mostly once. Running just beats me up too much now. If I would slow down a little it would be easier on me but I don't feel like I get my heart rate up running 8 minute miles. I swim and ride my bike too.

I feel your pain. I started running at age 42 "just because" 2 years ago ... not overweight, no health issues ... it was just my turn to "do something" as the kids got older. I run completely FOR me AGAINST me ... I'm getting better! But not even thinking about posting my times on here!

2:05 800 in HS. We didn't have a legit track season, just ran for a couple of months between soccer and football spring training

2 mile: 10:05
5k: 17:25
10k: 42:28 (only ran one in my life.. Didn't train for it. It was in April)
ETA: my current times would probably suck for anything under a 5k.. I've been lifting weights a lot more than I've been running

Too lazy to look up my splits, first marathon was Chicago last year in 3:54. Running it again this year, hopefully will beat that.
