OT Cheap Airfare of the Week: MSY-ORD $127, MSY-DCA $177, MSY-NYC $209

Happy humpday everyone, few more days til the 3 day weekend 
. Just flew one of the $84 fares I posted about a month ago for MSY-DFW this past weekend on American, got upgraded both legs so turned out to be a great deal. Not seeing too many new deals this week, but I am seeing a bunch of same day mileage runs on Delta in the fall from MSY to MSP, NYC and DCA-MSP-MSY-MSP-DCA for $188. I can look into those further if any of you Delta people are interested.
MSY-ORD: $127 roundtrip on United and Southwest from mid August until a week before Christmas.
MSY-DCA: $177 roundtrip US Airways and Southwest mid Aug until first week of December. ETA: $194 on Delta
MSY-NYC: $209 roundtrip on United with same day turns at $180, Delta has $188 same day turns, American at $229.
I can help out with other requests if you have them, especially the LSU Syracuse game. Found some roundtrip tickets for under $300 finally

Cheapest I've seen from MSY to JFK for the Syracuse weekend is $263, have you seen any cheaper than that?

What's crazy about all of this is that we spend more on car rentals/cabs then the actual flight itself!

JFK is a bit more $$ than EWR or LGA. If you can do United Thursday-Sunday, it's $209. Actually find it easier to leave from EWR than JFK cause you'll have to make your way across the city.

Right? Just spent $250 on a roundtrip to Sarasota and the hotel was $450 for 3 nights...and that's with using priceline express deals. I'll see how this turns out.

Most of these are for the end of August, September, October, November, and early December

Going into EWR is about the same as JFK, it's just you would take NJ Transit instead of the LIRR to get into the city (if you chose to go by train). I don't really think one is easier over the other so it's just your personal preference

I'm doing the MSY-ORD the last week of August. This price has been around since I first researched 2 months ago.
Out of curiosity, do they go up over time? Wanted to wait until about a week and a half from now (first week of June) to book to make sure the dates work.
ETA: You didn't include it in OP, but if I remember correctly, New Orleans to Miami was $177 as well.

Airfares go up and down on a daily and weekly basis, they're up for summer but I'm seeing them go back down now for fall. All depends on the day of the week that you book, how far in advance, etc. Miami is at $152 for the fall

Delta is at $194 in either direction (MSY-DCA or DCA-MSY), so only $17 more.
ETA: Example, Tues Sept 22 DCA-MSP-MSY-MSP-DCA $188 LINK
