That's not what DanTiger said. He said he wants the law so that he can protect his wife and kid as he walked to his car after a football game.

Also, you wouldn't need to protect my family if citizens could carry as well.

Just one more situation in society where cops want preferential treatment.

But that would put the rest of us on par with cops.

Why would they support that?

Any situation where they are permitted to do something one of us peons can not, even though they are not on duty, is preferential treatment.

That doesn't prevent me from protecting your family as well.

I, again, agree with you but two wrongs don't make a right. This isn't the Federal Govt we are fighting it is the NFL making on a ruling on property it doesn't own.

I have no problem with that.

I fully support your right to carry and to protect yourself.

so then you are against permitting a cop to help a person being attacked while off duty. Very wise.

So, we would be able to conceal carry in the locations referenced in the OP?

Come on man! You are not required to make a snarky comment about cops after every post. You discredit your cause more thn you aid it when you don't even pretend to be even remotely objective.

So why isn't the argument that all citizens with a CCL should be allowed to carry in an NFL game? Would you be opposed to that?

I didn't know that the pre-crime program had begun.

On the same note, why are you against the rest of us helping each other in public situations?

This mythical "Jason Bourne"-like training some of y'all think cops have is hilarious.

I would be fine with all CCL being allowed.

Again, I don't see this as a cop thing. I see it as baby steps to more gun control.

Take away guns from off duty cops then well if trained LEO'S can't carry guns the why should just anybody else.

I would supprt that 100%, as I have written several times in this thread. We are talking about a justified lawsuit in this case that has nothing to do with the general public. I would support any lawsuit filed against the NFL that would support any citizens right to carry. I am not sure the suit would win as alcohol is served in stadiums and I believe CC prevents carrying at places that serve booze.

Then support it as an all or none.

Either we should all be allowed to CC in these situations, or no one should.

I don't agree with all or none. Plus I just got distracted with some great news so I will have to leave you all to it. Good luck
