Plus I can't stand her :)

Trying to stick around for my son, I'd hate to see what happened to him if he lived with her.

Be careful what you marry, mines from Ohio and doesn't have those good Louisiana values like me.

I've done a good bit of counseling with couples. Two things are always true when it comes to sex.

1. I've never met a husband that was 100% satisfied with the frequency of sex in his marriage.

Not on the OT. 90% here act like they slay it at will.

Little known fact. You could actually be kicked out of the Puritan Church for not having sex with your spouse. A man was excommunicated from the church because the wife told the church he wasn't having sex with her. People think they were strict prudes but they were actually all for sex in the context of marriage.

2 kids and been married 11 years. We are pretty regular at about 3-4 times per week. We both workout a lot so that helps. I tell her how sexy she is all the time so she has a ton of confidence.

I can't imagine every 3 or 4 months. If it goes longer than 4 or 5 days it seems like years.

Life is too short not to beat that hatchet wound down every chance you get.

Translates to: "So my wife and I have 3 kids and we have been married for 15 years."

Couple and/or single (her) counseling, possibly hormonal therapy for her, she knows that celibacy at that age is inappropriate. Doing this is not optional for her.

I'd have not let it get to this point without already trying all options.

That's gotta suck (figuratively).

most of the responses have been from the male POV

I wonder what the women would do if they got cut off.

Did the husband gain a bunch of weight?

She might be 5'0 100lbs and hes now 300 lbs turning her off.

Women hit their sexual peak in their mid 30's , if he ain't getting sex from her , then 100% she is getting it from somewhere else.

Pregnancy sex is awesome.

Somehow my prudish wife was ready to get down many times during pregnancy. Like 5+ times a week. Never that much before kids.
Sadly, that was pushing 2 decades ago, and I'm not sure I've matched the pregnancy sex totals since.

Wrecking your marriage for a side piece ain't worth it. If you have children, the deals no longer about you and your dick. You young bucks won't understand til you get there. (This opinion assumes the wife is not getting long-stroked on the reg by the pool boy, etc.)

It is a lack of respect and love if she can't do him a solid one a week. I have never had this issue after 28 years of marriage but my wife occasional had secs just for me.

It is not healthy for one person to demand or withdraw something on another. In a word his wife is a selfish b______.

My wife and I are in counseling now. It isn't over sex or money. It is about out teenage daughters and how she can't let go. I am perfectly fine with the frequency.
