It's funny, I tried the stance and was like whoa, this does feel right.

My chipping has been horrid as of late. I actually just went to a clinic last night where this stuff corrected everything.

Just from these tips, I've been doing it all wrong.

Need to focus on weight on front foot, keep left wrist straight and accelerate through the ball while taking a short backswing.

All good pointers...my two biggest faults when chipping is not being committed to the shot and looking up too soon. I've found if you're not committed, you're going to give up on the shot and not let the club do the work... all kinds of things can go wrong (ie. trying to help the ball up, break down of the left wrist, etc.).

Got a good pointer on that. Imagine a quarter on the ground under the ball. Don't pick your head up until you're able to see that entire quarter.

Keep left wrist flat and aimed at target, turn the shoulders and not just the arms, try to take a small divot.

The divot part is huge, I'll make a little divot now even from the fringe and my chips are way more consistent and accurate. Used to blade 3-5 a round now I blade maybe one.

There's a video of Spieth somewhere giving a quick and simple explanation as to how he approaches it and it was all I needed visually.

Slightly open stance

Club shaft and head in straight line with left shoulder meaning hand or grip ahead of ball

Never never let club head pass your hands at impact if you do your wrist will be cupped causing a flipping action. It's just a mini swing of a full swing. Slight weight shift. Look up Phil Rogers. He worked with NIcklaus back in the day find out what works for you

How often do you play? chipping/pitching is probably the best and most consistent part of my game, but I find I lose that touch when I go a while without playing. It's one of those swings that needs to be practiced constantly so you don't lose it.

Weight on front foot. Break wrist to create good angle to hit down. Then make sure you it down and the ball first. Unless you are talking about a 50-70 pitch, not much rotation needed. If you have a fluffy lie, you may want to try coming in less steep and sweep it in the air. In either case - keep your head down or you will be unsuccessful.

Easy tip I use when I shank a shot on the range. Put two tees 1/2 from the ball on the outside. Hit 1/4 then 1/2 then full shot all missing the tee.

Play the ball off your right big toe, hit slightly down on the ball and forget everything else.

Get one of those aiming sticks (alignment rods) or something similar. Hold it in your grip like it's an extension of the shaft. Take a swing. If you are flipping your wrists, it will hit you in the side. Practice keeping your wrists firm (but not stiff) and your hands ahead of the ball so that the stick doesn't hit you.
