Control for economic strata rather than race and you likely see a similar distribution.
Some of the worst performing districts are dirt poor ones in the Delta which are also heavily black. The higher performing ones like Wesson ISD likely have a higher per capita income in addition to being white.

Funny that another tiny school in town with a building that is decades older just placed in the national science finals in Ohio, wonder what the difference is? PARENTS
Just out of curiosity, which one? Cathedral? or Trinity?

Hmmm...
Perhaps there is another explanation?

What is Cultural Problem for 500 Alex?

No one thinks the reason these black schools are rated as F are bc of the black students and their poor grades.
The "white" schools perform better bc their parents take interest in their children's development and don't care to let their kids grow up to be illiterate.

Bingo. This is all about wanting more money to pay deadheads and others with sweetheart arrangements.

Seriously????
Once again libs - read this first or shut your traps

I think it will be interesting to see what the evidence shows about the resources and funding the state allocates to the various schools. If predominately black schools get less money and resources than predominately white schools, I would be interested to know why if I were the judge.

If the family was better the school would be better. No matter what the school districts do nothing will change that.

I imagine this is going to be dropped like a scalding hot potato as the truth is the highest performing and whitest school districts spend the least money, if looked at from a purely financial standpoint too much money to spend causes a district to do worse.
The libs are never going to allow this to see a courtroom for this reason alone.

ought to sue the black kids' parents if they wish to get at the heart of the problem but the spls is nothing but racist money grubbers so they go after the deep pockets

There are schools just like this up north where poor whites go.

I live in a 100% black school district. We had our taxes raised a few years ago to build a new school. Five years later those bastards have tore the damn thing up. They also like JPS have all kinds of undeeded central office workers swindling money, etc. It's the culture. I do feel soorry for the small % of blacks that do value education, but most of that culture could give two shites about it.

There is a glaring reason that these district score lower. It is a lightning rod, but it is backed by scientific research in the psychology and neurosciences. With that being said, Although funding is distributed fairly equally, there are many schools that receive less with resources. But again the main reason is the former.

As others have with their assertions about per student spending, please provide a source for these assertions. This is a message board, so the whole point is discussion. And the vagueness of your post doesn't allow for any discussion

IQ. Even nonverbal IQ, which is subject to much much less Cultural bias.

Even the worst schools can give students a chance to learn. The key is segregation. Not racially, but by results, behavior, and by desire to learn. Separate accelerated classes of students, separate playgrounds, and buses and lunches if needed. This country has told its citizens are equal too long. They are not, and that's okay. We need children to be air conditioning techs, welders, plumbers, and we need to prepare those children who aren't going to go to college for their careers instead of trying to feed them all into colleges. TOPs should apply to trade schools as well. There's so much that can be done if we just stop pretending everyone needs to be doctors, lawyers, and rocket surgeons.
