Luttrell’s story is real. He lost his brothers on that mountain and nearly lost his own life. His story is of perseverance, sacrifice, survival, and duty. We were so proud he survived. I take personal pride in being a part of that mission.

Lone Survivor was written and he became one of those embellishers and stole honor from the other 19 men that died that day. I still refuse to read or watch Lone Survivor.

Went to grammar school and High School with Jacques Fontaine. He died in the copter downed by the RPG.

whatever it is it made the story real to Americans, and in today's age w no DDays, somebody needs to insure stories are told that let people be aware

Whether he embellishes or not doesn't change any reality

But I disagree with you here. Each mans true honor (Honor as in valor/integrity) is his own, earned and lost independently. No one can give it to you and no one can take it away.

Now reputation, what others think of you, sure, that can be sullied. But who gives a frick about the opinions of ignorant arse strangers and halfwits

story needs to be told to make people aware of those devils over there doing this to Americans.

The book was amazing. So you're telling me someone embellished a little when writing a book of heroism? Holy shite, whats next? Santa isnt real?

The biggest sacrifice Carson had was changing internet providers causing him to be offline for two hours.

What are people saying he embellished? Its been a while since I've read the book but seeing as he was the only one who survived what exactly are people implying he lied about?
