Never underestimate how stupid the majority of people are.

Straight cash payout after taxes = 310.31 mil
fuggggg.....
I wouldn't step in front of a camera the next day, that's for sure. Get a lawyer you trust, let them handle the details of getting the cash to you out of the public eye, and slowly but surely retreat from activities you don't want to do anymore. Otherwise, everyone you've met since age 2 is coming at you for a handout

I believe its a rule of the lottery that winnings over a certain amount, you have to accept it publicly.

I'd be worried about the lawyers/ anyone I told trying to steal the ticket or having me assassinated.
She may be known now, but with that amount of money. You are guaranteed to collect and can afford to disappear.
On a second topic, about how people lose that much money in 5-10 years.... I'd like to refer you to the comments made by Mark Cuban the last time the lottery hit 700M+.
He said the advice he would give would be to spend it.
It would be hard for you to even spend that much money if you tried. (See Brewster's Millions).
The fastest way to lose it all is to try to invest it despite that not being how you earned it in the first place.
What makes you think that by being lucky and winning all of that money suddenly made you a smart businessman or a good investor?
Nothing. You don't know anything about that. Keep the money. Spend it. You and your family will be set forever.
Invest it... and watch everyone else get rich off of you while you quickly return to your previous state.

A couple of things.
I would bet a lot of the lottery winners don't have the cash or credit to get out of town right away before claiming their prize. Not a problem for OTers, but then again no OTer has won the lottery yet.
And I understand about not making yourself known until you have to. But if you have my attitude then it probably wouldn't be a big deal. I'm not going to get scammed because I'm not going to try to aggressively grow my newfound wealth. Traditional avenues would be fine by me.
And it's hard to pull at my heartstrings because I'm not that caring. I would take my money and basically just travel the world until I got bored of it. Hard to beg me for money if you can't contact me. I rarely open my mail as it is. Everything important financially including bills is electronic now. I don't even open emails if I don't know what it is or who it's from.

This is why the annuity payout would tempt me. At least I would know I only had to finish the year before I got another check.

Since I just won $758 mil. I would pay some one to take the picture instead of me.

No chance, IMO.
You are an idiot. You know nothing of the power women can do with just a few dollars worth of makeup, let alone a a few hundred million. It is dang witchcraft.

What law firm are you hiring?
Go find a real deal wealth manger. There are companies out there that won't even talk to you unless you have 9 figures to invest. They manage money for billionaires, they arent going to have you assassinated.
And you sign the ticket, make copies and get a safety deposit box

I just don't understand why these fools wouldn't buy ASSETS with all that cash. Even when the stock market crashes you still at least have tangible real estate. I guess we can't all be finance majors.
