Yeah, let's send a message to the people who protect us that if they do their job, they might get disciplined for it.

Look, I understand no one likes to believe their family member did something wrong and when they die, all of a sudden they become this great person (as they say "a no good son of a bitch never died in a plane crash"), but they need to be reasonable.

Between his criminal history and what he was doing that night (which included being a felon with a gun).. You would think that at some point they will come to terms with the fact that.. there is a pretty good chance their family member was at fault and brought it upon himself.

Am I correct by saying he didn't even live with his family? Yet, when he was shot and it got all the media attention.. His family got just under $1M in donations.

I posted this in the Gravy thread and feel a need to repost here:

Wow.....so she just hung Chief Dabadie out to dry. I have gone for hoping she could do some good (like Kip did), to thinking she was incompetent, and now I just think she is an "in your face" incompetent racist. At the very least, why can't she wait on the AG investigation?

How is it that NOLA and BR managed to elect possibly their worst two mayors during overlapping terms?

Wtf does this even mean?

It means that despite an impartial investigation by the Obama DOJ she did not get the result she wanted.

It was her wish that the BR police officer be found to have violated the law. Think about that, despite all of her calls for justice, she really wanted one conclusion. Guilty of a crime.

That way she and her Ilk could continue to push their agenda.

Also note that she uses every incident she can find to tear down the BRPD. Look at the latest incident. She used that to attack Dabadie.

She's just doing what's she's been doing since January: trying to paint Dabadie into a corner.

I hope he tells her to go frick herself.

No we have a Trifecta of idiots in Government right now because we need to throw the enabler of both of them into the mix and that is our illustrious Governor Edwards.

Jesus fricking Christ, I seriously might run for mayor. If someone can get to that position being dumb enough to say shite like this I have to have a chance. Just play the race card and then switch it up once

Does she not understand it was ruled a justified shooting?

Justified legally doesn't necessarily mean the officers acted appropriately from a police standpoint.

I believe this crazy woman just threw one down in the face of Mitch Landrieu because both of these two nitwits must be running to run for the 2020 Presidency.

At this point, it really does appear to be a contest as to which one can out-stupid the other.
