I hate walking behind a group of people then you get caught in their exhale cloud. Both my wife and daughter have asthma and it does effect them.

I stopped smoking awhile ago (I'll still have one here or there if I've been drinking) but I always get a kick out of people giving me the evil eye when I smoke my eCigarette in public.

I don't agree. I think that LSU has the right to make this decision.
I haven't smoked in a long time, but I was completely against the government stepping in and telling private establishments that they couldn't allow smoking in their bars/restaurants/whatever.
In my opinion, if you own it, you can either allow it or not, people can choose to work there or not, and people can choose to eat/drink/hang out there or not.
I hate when people get behind a cause because it suits them. "I don't like smoking, it stinks, it's bad for you, they shouldn't allow it". <--you don't have to be there, motherfricker.

I used to smoke and don't particularly like to smell it or be around it now. Gotta say that this is a terrible policy and LSU administration should be ashamed.
Even better the students should stand up and push against the admin on this. College used to be where something like this would never be tolerated.
Glad I graduated when I did, LSU is taking all the fun out of it. Some crased smoker is going to go nuts on people when he/she can't have a smoke between tests.

I think it's an awesome rule to have. Because smoking does affect other people. I don't agree with the dipping though because that doesn't affect me or my family.
