Had me up until here.

The problem is, how do you know you will enjoy it? You won't know what it's really like until after a considerable investment of time and money.

Not really.

If anyone is going to the court house...care to take pictures of the results? Last year they weren't online until 930-10 but people said they were posted in the halls

Yeah, they usually post them on the courthouse door before they post them online.

I am surprised the list hasn't already been circulated through back channels. I got it about 45 minutes before results were posted in 2011.

Wow. I was at home when the results were posted. It took forever for each page to load.

The same could be said about spending 4 years in college.

Someone in our class got it really early and started sending congratulations messages to people who had no idea they had passed yet.

A close family friend/father figure just called me saying congrats and I was like how the hell do you know?! Turns out he didn't.

Where did you go to law school?

I hope the passage rate is 0.0%. We don't need more shitty attorneys in this state. Good luck in February.

So compound the problem by adding 3 more years and a mountain of debt?

Maybe it's not right for everyone but there are opportunities out there. Just have to be willing to risk it.

And, let's be honest, a law degree isn't as flexible as people like to think it is.

Same could be said for being a plumber. Reading books on plumbing schematics and tank installation sounds interesting, as does making $100k a year. All that changes the first time you get blasted in the face by shite.

Loyola, I have been told it is considered the Yale of the South.

I was going to say UPenn, but Yale works.

You're not wrong, per se, but I have to agree with what LNCHBOX said. Law school is three more years and much, much more money.

Yea, there's never anyway to know anything. I am lucky in that I knew I'd like my specific field of engineering because I knew I'd make a comfortable living, very rarely work more than 40 hours in a week, and have good job security. They actual work doesn't have much effect on that. The fact that I love my current job is just a bonus.
