Sure, but what does a shooting [not at Jazzfest] have to do with Jazzfest?

IMO Mandina’s is a dark horse for sure. We didn’t try the one here for the longest time because thought just another same old menu and fried stuff. So wrong. Quality great, portions good, price reasonable.

biggest problem here is there is no conversation. If you just take a look at the data, the biggest threat to black men is black men and their mothers aborting them.

Ive lived in Baton Rouge, Atlanta and New Orleans. And in almost 40 years of my life ive been seeing the same fricking thing. Its old, im tired of it. You cant talk sense into people. The democrats have destroyed black Americans.

Jazz fest isn’t worth the trouble. I rather pay to have an assigned seat to see someone.

to me, it would be insincere to not link it to jazz fest.

if there's a shooting in tigerland the night of an alabama home game, is there an issue with mentioning it in the headline?

if "spring breakers" are wreaking havoc at a south beach restaurant, would it be wrong to mention it's spring break?

Seems like they were waiting on busboy to take a break and made the hit when he stepped out. It also explains how patrons in the restaurant could be hit by stray bullets.

So any shooting in Tigerland tonight should be linked to the LSU baseball game that just ended?

I get why the shooting has Jazzfest in the headline, but it is a bit sensational.

Shootings happen every day in MidCity, I don’t think this one has anything to do with Jazzfest. Just your attempt at clickbait

You can use Debik and credik at the New Orleans location as well. That changed years ago.

I passed by it about an hour ago. Wow. (Could have been me etc)

I drove up Canal Street this afternoon after going to my parents grave site.

Never felt unsafe in MidCity. We used to frequent Mandina's.

NOLA is a shithole with a shitty administration.

How close is that to actual Jazz Fest?

Fairgrounds isn't close enough to use the shooting as click bait.

Exactly and now people are being gunned down right out front in the open. Nowhere is safe in that cesspool.

Mandeville was good early on but several years ago had bad meal after bad meal and never went back.
Not sure it is the exact same ownership team and never seemed to be on the same level as the Canal location.

But Mandina’s had that sketchy looking ATM in-house that charged like $5.00 per transaction.

Typical NOLA game to tourists who chanced on it without knowing the former cash only policy.

I figured the IRS would have been very interested in a restaurant with a cash only policy.

The Mandeville location has only one thing over the NOLA location: safety.
