All over some real or perceived ghetto grievance.

About 6 months or so ago some 'kid' was killed off Carrollton outside his job. Good kid with a job was the story published and what even hit this page. Turns out social media had a bit more truth. Dude was selling and was targeted for holding back on some guns. Or as the post said "some people gonna learn not to play"

Having a job isn’t a sign of anything

It’s often required by the courts/probation office

4th murder in the past year in the Carrollton/Canal/Beinville area.

-Lady carjacked and dragged to death
-Kid working at the ice cream shop/Jimmy John’s
-Winn Dixie carjacking
-Mandinas shootout

Cool.

I'd highly suggest the Veal Parmesan & Spaghetti or for seafood Fried Shrimp & Catfish , both are to die for

Assuming it’s the same as Mandina’s Mandeville you can order just about anything and it’ll be damn good.

Plus in Mandeville you won’t get kilt.

Few miles.

Would be a post-fest destination for some locals though. Or former locals coming back for the fest.

Not sure it would really be related to Jazzfest in any way.

Like saying a shooting at Mike Anderson's was part of the LSU gameday experience.

That’s horrible. That wasn’t a bad area. About 2 miles from Jazz Fest.

But what does any of this have to do with Jazzfest?

I don't get why people take issue with this.

I guarantee it was full of people who were at Jazz Fest. It's the opening night of Jazz Fest.

Cash only don’t fly in the NS. That shite drove me crazy during my tour of duty on the southshore.

My favorite restaurant in Nola. Been going since I was little. Went there a few weeks ago for the first time in years and saw the armed security out front. Glad they are able to provide that but also sad that the city has let itself get to this point.
