May I ask if the life support is to let his body "rest" as in a medically type induced coma type thing? I know what I'm asking but don't know if I'm asking clearly?

The response and support for this benefit has been tremendous and as of about noon today they have commitments for approximately 4000 plates from businesses and individuals alike.
Because of the response they are asking for anyone who can come and help serve plates Monday morning and they are expected to begin at about 8:00AM. There is also a need for EZUps type tents and tables to shade and create and assembly line. Please anyone on the list to let them know and any help is appreciated.

Awesome to see this thing has doubled in size. I think 2k plates originally now 4K. Everyone I have spoken to that is organizing this has been a stand up guy and overwhelmingly appreciative. My whole department will be eating jambalaya on Monday!
