They may change their stance later, but even when we parked and walked over they basically said they couldn't take our order. We would have to get in our cars and wait in line.

We fixed our own plates for our team order. Wasn't a big deal.
They had plenty of volunteers and were filling 4 long tables full of plates but still did not have enough people to keep the tables full.
For perspective, they basically fixed twice the United way jambalaya cook downtown worth of food.

We pre-ordered 50 and they couldn't keep up with that based on the response.
That's why we fixed our own plates.
Either way we had a back up plan to just give the money and pick up food elsewhere if need

Just got back to the office.
Overheard Jason (the organizer) IIRC he said they had 6200ish pre ordered and cooked enough for 10,000
I was lucky to get in line before they started making people go back to their cars.
Plenty of people there, itll just take some time.
