Interesting. Nothing against the diet, if it works for you and your activity level, good for you. I would recommend a good multi just to even out anything you may be missing on a small diet like that.

Dont listen to anyone saying its "unhealthy". Thats a perfectly healthy diet as long as you are getting all the vitamins and nutrients(carbs/fats/proteins) you need for you level of activity.

i take a multi every day. I get exercise, i get 9-10 hrs of sleep every night. I feel good on the "diet". i dont eat any fried foods or sweets or breads. everything is baked or grilled. I eat any vegetables and fruits for snacks. I have no isssues on it. But like i said, i will eat a little more on sat/sunday. Sometimes we cook a sunday roast or stuffed bell peppers with ground turkey. I will eat bbq ribs or chicken. I will also eat occasional ribey on the grill on weekends. But i drink nithing but water, always have for 31 years. I could probably tell you how many carbonated drinks i have drink in my life, probably under 100.

I am not being mean, but this simply isnt correct. As a male, you would continually lose weight with this intake until you eventually got so sick you would be bed ridden.

you have to be flaming

that's not enough calories, carbs, or fat to survive on especially combined with exercise

that, or you have a serious eating disorder

He is either joking or is missing something. At 800 calories a day, he would eventually get down to about 80-90 pounds

Yeah, I weigh 100lbs and 800 would have me starving. I don't even have a big appetite at all.

Congrats. You are, by medical definition, starving yourself.

You would be losing hair and teeth on that kind of diet. It'd be impossible to get any kind of meaningful exercise with that diet. I believe the "specially nutritious" lunch that Michelle Obama was pushing consisted of about 700 calories, and that's just for lunch.

Myfitnesspal opened my eyes to how many calories I can eat in a day if I don't pay attention.

I always recommend a food diary for anyone serious about losing weight.

I use that app. It's helped me lose weight in the past. 800 calories sucks. Eat more and feel better.
